Social Media is an amazing way for teens to connect with their friends, meet new people, share their lifestyle and many more other things. Instagram, Facebook, snapchat, etc but social media can be problematic too. You can get exposed to cyber bullying, slut-shaming and many others things which are going to leave a deep impact on your mind. Yes there are benefits to social media but there are a lot of risks and negatives too. In short, no matter how carefully you use social media, it is going to make a deep impact on your mental and social health.

Teens are probably going to be exposed to sexual content too on social media. That's why it is important for teens to learn a healthy way to navigate through social media. Discuss with your parents (I know it's not a good idea to discuss about social media with your parents for most cases because they are just going to tell you to leave social media because it's a distraction). Well they are right to some extent too but if your kid is going to use it secretly anyways because of peer pressure or any other factors then why don't teach him/her the right way to use social media yourself.

To be honest according to me, it's important for parents to get involved in their kid's social media atleast until the age of 14-15 years old. They should know what their teen is doing online on the internet because trust me, internet isn't a safe place at all. There can be violent scenes on social media, false facts, false claims and some other pretty gruesome things which clearly aren't meant for kids. It's not good to use social media unless you can control yourself because social media is one of the biggest reason of procrastination in kids as well as grown ups. That's why parents are supposed to guide their children so that social media doesn't make a negative impact on their kid.

Not everything you see on social media is correct, most of them are totally fake facts or news. The lavish pics you see might not be real because they were most probably taken to show off in front of everyone. In short, the main aim of most of the people on social media is to showoff in front of others that's why don't believe everything you see. 

One more thing I fear for our teenage are girls, I mean yeah it's okay to be a feminist and I also support the fact that everyone should be equal but what type of feminism it is to dance sexually on social media with short clothes just to gain followers??? Hnn....... What type of equality does it proves??? The truth is that most of the girls use this so called term "feminism" in the wrong way just for their beneficial purpose. I said "most" and not "all". I don't know where our youth is heading and then the male too start simping for those girls. Come on guys ffs, WHAT'S THE PROBLEM WITH YOU GUYS??? Don't be such a easy target ffs. 

In the end I would like to say that it's not entirely wrong to use social media until and unless you can handle the negatives of it because trust me, social media isn't safe at all and you are surely going to need some guidance to be able to healthily navigate through internet and adapt it's positivities rather than negativities.

  My School Life Alright so, by each day passing, my school life is coming nearer to the end. So much has happened and much more is still left to happen. I am still 16yr old till now and I am in 12th. I don’t know where to begin from so let’s go random. As for now, I still haven’t talked to the person I like in my school which is just too sad.
